Owned and operated by Yvonne and Jerry Collier, who are joined by their son Eric, Collier Roofing is a family business specializing in commercial and industrial roofing. The Colliers realize that employees and customers are key to the success of their company and treat them accordingly.

The average employee tenure at Collier Roofing is 17 years. All employees undergo extensive background screening which qualifies every member of the installation team to work on all projects including Federal, schools, multi-family residential, hotels or other security-sensitive jobs. Each project is assigned a dedicated team so you never have to wonder who will be working on your building's roof or interacting with your tenants each day.

We offer web-cam video of your Collier team at work so you can see firsthand the craftsmanship we provide. You receive daily progress e-mails with photos attached incorporating identifiable landmarks so you know the photos are specifically of your job.

As a Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace, all Collier employees are carefully selected and monitored to assure the consistency of quality installations for which we are known. Our on-going commitment to safety is reflected in our low worker's compensation Mod Rating. Training is given top priority to ensure the correct and consistent installation of our roofing systems.

A high quality, professionally installed roof should exceed the duration of its warranty with little need for a visit from your roofing company. If your roof is installed correctly, you should have a hard time remembering who your contractor was because without the need for repairs, you would have no need to contact your installer - other than to install additional roofs!

Being green means moving beyond offering a few green products to our customers who ask for them. It means helping customers to understand what is possible to improve their environmental practices and offering the expertise to assist them.

At Collier Roofing we take our contributions to the environment very seriously and incorporate green practices not only into the products and services we offer, but the way we conduct our business. Our entire staff recycles food containers, office paper and materials from jobs (where appropriate), utilizing e-mail in lieu of printing, consolidating trips and reducing the number of fleet vehicles. Out staff are encouraged to always be thinking beyond convenience and to choose instead, what is best for all of our futures.

Key Staff

Yvonne Collier, President, learned the business from watching her father, Jerry Cannon, who worked first for Tennessee Sheet Metal and then later for a commercial roofing contractor. Her first career was in commercial real estate and property management and she often called on the expertise of a professional roofing contractor, where, she eventually met her husband Jerry. Yvonne is the numbers and organization person who keeps the company current in customer communications, insurance and financial aspects of the business.

Jerry Collier, Vice President, gained valuable experience in his years at a local commercial roofing contractor, before he and Yvonne branched out to start their own business. Jerry considers his relationships with vendors and fellow roofing professionals to be as important as relationships with customers. A man of his word, Jerry makes certain every job is completed adhering to the manufacturer's and company's exacting standards.

Eric Collier, Estimator/Project Manager, has grown up in the business learning roofing from the ground up. He now primarily focuses on Estimating and Project Management.

Heather Collier, Service Manager specializes in maintaining customer relationships. Her expertise in communication has proven invaluable to meeting and exceeding the customer's needs.

Greg Cannon, Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field personnel and ensuring each project is completed on-time to exact standards. Greg's supervision of consistently meeting and exceeding all safety standards has continuously allowed Collier Roofing Co., Inc. to maintain a low MOD Rating year after year.
